Abstract
Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) is widely expressed in decidual interface, and TRAIL receptor specifically binds to it and plays a role in cell function regulation. TRAIL receptor is differentially expressed in cells such as decidual cells, trophoblast cells, and immune cells, which can regulate cytokine secretion, cell proliferation and apoptosis, function shaping, and induce inflammatory cell differentiation. Abnormal expression of TRAIL receptor leads to early abortion and other pregnancy complications, which plays an important role in the early pregnancy of humans. This review describes the expression of TRAIL receptor in early pregnancy and provides a new clinical approach to improve the treatment of early pregnancy complications. © Science Printers and Publishers, Inc.
